The clothing shop that captivates with its distinctive aesthetic, characterized by saturated color tones and expressive lines that breathe life into the space. This is Barcelona’s new Mango Teen store for youngsters aged 11 to 13. As you step inside, you are immediately transported into a surreal setting, where unexpected combinations of analog features create a whimsical and enchanting atmosphere.

In this unique clothing shop, saturated color tones, expressive lines, and unexpected analog features come together to create a captivating and immersive experience. It blurs the boundaries between reality and imagination, offering a glimpse into a world where past and future coexist harmoniously.
Drawing inspiration from the concept of the metaverse, The Mango Teen store's back-lit tunnel design entices shoppers to embark on a journey into a dreamlike realm. This illuminated passageway acts as a gateway, encouraging visitors to explore the store and indulge in their imagination.
Similarly, a washing machine, an everyday household item, undergoes a transformation within the store. It becomes a symbol of transformation and renewal, inviting teenagers to explore different styles and reinvent themselves through fashion. This unexpected element adds an element of surprise and creativity to the space, encouraging shoppers to embrace their unique individuality.
Art-deco mirrors, with their distinctive geometric patterns and elegant frames, further enhance the optical journey. They not only serve as functional objects for reflection but also contribute to the overall aesthetic and atmosphere of the space. As teenagers approach these mirrors, they are invited to engage in a playful game of perception and self-expression. The mirrors distort their reality, offering a whimsical and transformative experience that adds a touch of magic to their shopping adventure.
By incorporating these "incoherent" elements and assigning them new functions, they created a space that transcends the ordinary and invites teenagers to let their imagination flow. The store becomes a playground for self-expression, where young shoppers can explore their personal style and embrace their sense of individuality. It serves as a reminder that fashion is not just about the garments we wear, but also about the experiences and emotions they evoke.
